Presidio is seeking a Vice President to add to our Technology investment banking team in our San Francisco Bay Area office (Marin County).

Our office is located in Larkspur, CA.

PTP provides merger & acquisition, recapitalization, and capital raising advisory services. Our professionals possess deep expertise in technology & software with vertical expertise in transportation SaaS, insurance SaaS and real estate SaaS.

Transportation SaaS is our most active vertical. As an elite boutique bank, this role provides a compelling opportunity to join a rapidly growing team highly focused on deal execution and to work directly with senior team members.

Job Responsibilities

Presidio is actively seeking a Vice President interested in being part of a growing, entrepreneurial environment. Presidio has a strong pipeline of live deals and t he VP position offers candidates the opportunity to participate in live deal execution and mentor a team of junior bankers on every facet of a live deal.

As a Vice President on the Presidio technology team, you will assume significant responsibilities related to deal execution and deal pitching.

Vice Presidents will spend the majority of their time working on live deals and will have the unique opportunity to help contribute to all stages of live deal.

We look for candidates who are effective at working in a team environment, and who are interested in a long-term investment banking career.

Responsibilities Include :

• Client Management and Deal Execution lead / mentor a team of associates and analysts including a broad range of responsibilities and managerial tasks across the entire lifecycle of a deal (from pitch to close)
• Proven ability to build compelling marketing materials (pitches, CIMs, valuation presentations, other transaction-related marketing materials etc.)
• Detailed Financial Modeling : construct and maintain complex financial models and revenue by customer waterfalls. Deep knowledge of gross and net revenue retention calculations, and other SaaS KPIs is highly valued (logo retention, revenue bridge, ARPA growth, cross-sell and upsell analyses, etc.)
• Valuation Analyses : create and maintain precedent transactions, public trading comparables and merger models. Conduct in-depth industry research and demonstrate key valuation drivers for valuing SaaS companies.
• Industry Research : Conducting detailed industry research and assessing market data trends.

Desired Skills, Experience, and Education

Successful candidates will have exceptional leadership skills, a commitment to teamwork, excellent communications skills and a passion for learning.

Ideal candidates will have prior investment banking experience at bulge bracket firms or other elite boutique banks including as an analyst and associate.

Vice Presidents work on a variety of high-profile transactions and have a demonstrated interest to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Desired skills include :

• The ideal candidate will have an undergraduate degree in business, economics, accounting or a related field
• 5+ years of technology investment banking experience with a proven track record working on complex executed deals
• Detail oriented with a strong understanding of the financial statements
• Strong command of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
• Strong quantitative and analytical skills
• Intellectual curiosity and resourceful self-starter
• Excellent business judgment and ethics
• Demonstrated ability to multi-task in an energetic, fast-paced environment
• Live in the San Francisco Bay Area (or be willing to relocate) and work in the Larkspur office 5 days a week
• Bachelor’s degree is required in Finance, Business, Economics or a related field; an MBA would be an asset

The firm’s good faith estimate of a potential base salary range for the role will be between $225,000 and $275,000 per year depending on live deal experience & track record.
