Project Management Duties :
Project Definition : Outline and define all projects using a Project Planning document.
Project Plan : Complete start to finish Project Plan document to lay out detailed outline of entire project chronologically.
Project Tracking : Use formal project tracking software to track projects and ensure that systems are in place for consistent and regular updating.
Project Coordination : Act as the central point of contact for all facets of the assigned projects. Ensure all critical information is conveyed and coordinated.
Project Leadership : Provide ongoing and consistent leadership to all involved on the project. Resolve conflicts, motivate team members, and make hard decisions regarding the project.
Project Task Delegation : PM will delegate elements / areas within the project as deemed necessary. While those delegated to are responsible for their areas, the PM is ultimately responsible for the completion of all tasks (sub projects) within the project.
Project Reporting : PM will report to their immediate supervisor and / or others as outlined in the project document. Reporting for each project will be determined and documented in the Project Plan document for all projects.
Project Success : PM will take total responsibility for the success or failure of the project. While many will influence and contribute to the success or failure of the project, the PM will ensure that the project as a whole is a success and completed on-time, within scope, and within budget.
Project Transition : PM will include in their original Project Plan, the plan for transitioning the project at its completion to the permanent supervisor or manager of this functional area.
Requirements
Experience :
1-3 years of project management experience.
Education :
Bachelor's Degree in Business, Management, Engineering or related field.
Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification preferred.
Special Skills :
Strong network & Team building acumen.
Proven experience and skills relating to business, management, budgeting and analysis.
High level of interpersonal & negotiation skills.
Able to work effectively with minimal supervision.
