Certified Nursing Assistant

Job Description : A Certified Nursing Assistant performs many basic care tasks for patients, like grooming, dressing, bathing, eating and exercising.

They also assist the nursing staff with medical tasks like taking blood, monitoring vitals with medical equipment and reporting patient behavior and wellbeing.

Their role is to ensure patients are comfortable and well cared for while under the care of Doctors and Nurses in hospitals, outpatient centers and long-term care facilities.

Skills and qualifications : Certified Nursing Assistants use many soft skills and patient care best practices to provide a safe, comfortable, and healing environment for all patients.

Years of Experience Required : 2 years. 4. Skill Sets Required : Ability to read Cardiac Telemetry strips. Post Cath care (PCI, ICD, PPM, Ablation, TR Band, Femoral approach, etc.

5. Clinician to Patient Ratio : 4 5 Patients : 1 RN. 6. Patient Population : Adult medical patients. 7. Bed Count : 24.

8. Census : 24. 9. EMR (Charting System) : EPIC. 10. Floating Required : Yes. 11. Certifications Required : CNA, BLS.
