We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Project Manager to join our team and lead the planning, execution, and completion of our commercial construction projects.
Key Responsibilities :
- Project Planning : Develop detailed project plans, including scope, schedule, budget, and resource allocation. Work closely with clients, architects, and engineers to define project objectives and deliverables.
- Budget Management : Establish and manage project budgets, ensuring that all costs are accurately tracked and controlled.
Identify potential cost savings and implement strategies to keep the project within budget.
- Scheduling : Create and maintain project schedules, coordinating with subcontractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders to ensure timely completion of project milestones.
- Team Leadership : Lead and manage the project team, including subcontractors, site superintendents, and other personnel.
Foster a collaborative and productive work environment.
Quality Assurance : Monitor all aspects of the construction process to ensure compliance with project specifications, building codes, and safety regulations.
Conduct regular site inspections and quality control checks.
- Risk Management : Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize impact on project timelines and budgets.
- Client Communication : Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, keeping them informed of project progress and addressing any concerns or issues that arise.
Maintain strong client relationships throughout the project lifecycle.
- Documentation : Ensure that all project documentation, including contracts, change orders, and progress reports, is accurate, up-to-date, and properly filed.
- Problem Solving : Address and resolve any issues that arise during construction, including conflicts with subcontractors, delays, and unforeseen challenges.
Qualifications & Experience :
- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience as a Project Manager in commercial construction.
- Proven track record of successfully managing commercial projects from start to finish.
- Strong experience with budgeting, scheduling, and resource management.
- A bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field is preferred. Equivalent experience in the field will be considered.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- High attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Proficiency in construction management software, such as Procore, Bluebeam, and MS Office Suite.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and contracts.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Certifications : PMP or equivalent project management certification is a plus. OSHA 30-hour certification is preferred.
Compensation and Benefits :
Salary : Competitive, based on experience.
Schedule : Monday to Friday, with occasional weekend work as required by project demands.
