Robert Half’s clients is looking for a Site Merchandising Specialist, you will be responsible for content that is published on web and app, including rich product content for digital and in-store commerce, engaging
content that highlights product collections for seasonal selling moments and deals. You will be responsible for merchandising content that creates the best shopping experience on digital properties and any partner properties.
Your work will produce shoppable experiences that measurably increases engagement,
grows sales, and maximizes margin for Same Day Delivery and store trip planning experiences across all digital commerce channels.
You will be a crucial cross-functional partner to multiple teams including merchandising, marketing, product, UX, and creative, working together to develop and implement site strategies.
Location : Remote
Employment Type : Contract, 1 year, FT (40 hours per week)
Start Date is September 23rd
W2 Pay Rate : $29 / hr- 32 / hr
Duties and Responsibilities
- Identify opportunities to improve key site metrics - conversion rate, sales per visit, abandon cart rate, etc.
- Identify and implement site merchandising tools to deliver a relevant and personalized experience for multi-platform guest experience (desktop, mobile, native app, doordash)
- Collaborate with merchandising and marketing teams to ensure the site represents the seasonal product strategies
- Collaborate with marketing and content manager on key product page presentations (including copy, images, videos, etc.)
- Collaborate with catalog team to optimize product assortment and site presentation strategy across categories to ensure categorization, sequencing and cross-selling are optimal and customer facing
- Report on monthly performance and provide recommendations on improving overall site experience
- Partner with technical and product teams to develop and deploy commerce features, functionality & tools that improve site merchandising to drive sales and store visits
- Other projects that may arise that drive overall company objectives
Skills
- Knowledge of commerce merchandising, with 1-3 years’ experience
- Experience in analyzing and reporting in commerce merchandising performance to maximize sales growth
- Experience in PIM tools, Adobe Experience Manager or comparable CMS tools a plus.
- An entrepreneurial mentality, willingness to roll up the sleeves and do whatever is needed to
- meet goals.
- Ability to prioritize and execute projects end-to-end
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- High degree of proficiency in MS office suite, especially Excel (pivot tables, lookups, etc...)
- Bachelor’s degree required or equivalent experience
- Minimum of 1-3 years of experience in retail, e-commerce, merchandising, or planning
