Job Duties :
- Assist the PT in maintaining safety standards in the physical therapy department.
- Adhere to departmental policies, including a professional dress code.
- Ensure resident safety during therapy sessions and follow safety precautions.
- Implement infection control procedures and universal precautions.
- Maintain a clean and safe therapy area, stocked with necessary equipment.
- Report hazardous conditions or equipment.
- Use personal protective clothing when dealing with potential exposure to bodily fluids.
- Report missing or illegible labels or SDSs to your supervisor.
Minimum Qualifications :
Current, unencumbered license to practice as a Physical Therapy Assistant in Florida State
