The Job / What You'll Do :
Adhesion is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Manager to join our Transition Services team. As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for planning, executing, and delivering projects within the specified timelines, budget, and quality standards.
Your expertise in project management methodologies, and stakeholder management will be crucial in driving successful project outcomes and contributing to the organization's strategic goals.
This is a full-time role in Adhesion's Charlotte, NC office.
Responsibilities :
Project Planning and Scope Definition : Collaborate with stakeholders to define project objectives, deliverables, scope, and success criteria.
Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, budgeting, risk assessment, and mitigation strategies.
Project Execution and Monitoring : Lead project teams in executing project plans, ensuring adherence to timelines, quality standards, and budget.
Monitor project progress, track key milestones, and proactively identify and address any issues or risks that may impact project delivery.
- Stakeholder Management : Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders. Communicate project updates, solicit feedback, and manage expectations throughout the project lifecycle.
- Risk Management : Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks. Develop risk management plans and strategies to minimize the impact of potential risks.
Implement effective issue resolution processes to address project-related challenges.
Resource, Financial Analysis and Budget Management : Work closely with the Relationship Management team to develop project budgets, and timelines based on resources, monitoring expenditures, and ensure financial control and transparency.
Conduct financial analysis and reporting to track project costs, benefits, and return on investment (ROI).
Cross-Functional Collaboration : Collaborate with various teams, subject matter experts, to ensure effective coordination and alignment of project activities.
Foster a collaborative and cohesive project team environment.
Project Documentation : Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including project charters, plans, status reports, meeting minutes, and lessons learned.
Ensure accurate and timely reporting to project sponsors, senior management, and other relevant stakeholders.
Continuous Improvement : Identify opportunities for process improvements, efficiency enhancements, and best practices adoption.
Proactively contribute to the development and implementation of project management methodologies and tools.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities :
- Proficiency in project management methodologies. Ability to tailor project management approaches to fit specific project requirements.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire project teams. Experience in managing virtual or remote project teams is a plus.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
Strong presentation and negotiation abilities.
Proven track record in delivering projects on time, within budget, and meeting quality standards. Demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and adapt to changing priorities.
Education & Experience :
- Bachelor's degree in finance, business administration, or a related field. Project management certification, such as Project Management Professional (PMP), is highly desirable.
- Proven experience 5-7 years as a Project Manager in the investment industry. Experience managing complex, cross-functional projects is advantageous.
