IMPACT YOU WILL HAVE

The Oracle EBS Apps Developer supports the company's financial systems. These systems include enterprise resource planning systems, commercial off-the-shelf integration, web applications, web services, mobile applications, and integration frameworks.

The developer / engineer will also provide technical support to internal business customers.

LOCATION

• This company, based near Chantilly, VA offers a hybrid work model. The area has been named one of The South’s Best Cities on the Rise for 2024.
• The Oracle Apps Developer is required to be in the office two days per week and must reside within a reasonable commuting distance.

Relocation assistance is available to those more than 70 miles from the office.

HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE

• Support Oracle ERP systems, navigating through web applications and web services, and orchestrating seamless integration frameworks.
• Craft solutions to meet business needs. Collaborate within an agile team of engineers and systems analysts to create applications and products.
• Collaborate with vendor technical support and project development staff to implement Commercial Off-The-Shelf (COTS) and Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) integrations.
• Provide support for the analysis, development, and maintenance of software and web architecture requirements.
• Develop an understanding of how our systems and platforms interconnect within the corporate landscape.
• Ensure completion of critical technical design documentation.
• Create prototypes and visuals to aid in illustrating product concepts.
• Write and maintain unit, functional, and integration tests for automation.
• Minimize operational downtime by expediting the deployment of changes, fixes, updates, and solutions.
• Implement automation for manual maintenance tasks and reporting.
• Advance the company's application platform to meet scaling, security, and compliance requirements.
• Conduct code reviews and design evaluations while providing guidance on best practices.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement aimed at enhancing stability and efficiency.

IDEAL PROFILE

• Experience : 5+ years advanced programming skills, including Oracle EBS through release R12.2.11 in a production environment.
• Experience with analyzing functional requirements to create / modify system architectures and write technical documents.
• Expertise in Oracle EBS RICEFW development and advanced skills in Oracle Database, SQL, PL / SQL, Unix / Linux, JDeveloper, OAF Customizations.
• Significant experience with Oracle EBS functional modules and process flows (P2P, RTR, OTC).
• Proficiency with Oracle EBS Web ADI, form personalization, web page personalization.
• Experience in PL / SQL programming including Stored Procedures, Constraints, Joins, Keys, Indexes.
• Skills with Oracle Application Framework (OAF), Workflow Builder, and XML Publisher.
• Hands-on experience in Java / J2EE, REST API, SOAP.
• Location : Reston, VA. Reside within a reasonable commute or be willing to relocate (assistance provided).
• Education : Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science (or equivalent).
• Work Authorization : US Citizen / Green Card holder preferred. Will consider H-1B visa holder with an approved I-140 or 18+ months remaining on an initial visa.
