Colson Group is seeking a 2nd Shift Production Supervisor in our Jonesboro, AR facility.
The Production Supervisor will lead the manufacturing team to fulfill daily responsibilities of metal cutting, forming, stamping, welding and assembling customer orders.
Oversee the replenishment of material for production, and the movement of finished goods into inventory.
Through the leading of personnel; accomplish work results, priorities, and monitor / report on progress.
Report on those activities to management in the support of company initiatives, standards, policies and overall continuous improvement.
This is a Safety Sensitive position.
Primary Responsibilities : Supervise personal to accomplish positive work results, establish priorities, and monitor progress.
- Report, as needed to management, the results of production activities.
- Ensure all employees work to achieve a high level of productivity while maintaining product quality.
- Ensure input all daily employee paperwork (labor, scrap, SPC) into the labor reporting system.
- Support company initiatives by maintaining adherence to organization standards and policies.
- Support the creation and sustainment of processes and procedures by analyzing operating practices, record-keeping systems, forms of control, and supporting continuous improvement.
- Use Lean Manufacturing tools and techniques to enhance and improve productivity.
- Support the efforts of other departments through prompt responsiveness to requests and inquiries.
