Starting Salary Range : $165,000 - $180,000
Position Description :
Become the Director of Human Resources for an iconic organization! In this dynamic role, you'll be responsible for overseeing recruitment, hiring and onboarding, employee development, employee / labor relations, coordinating Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) programs, policy / contract interpretation, compensation administration, and legal compliance.
Your role will be critical in ensuring that all HR functions run smoothly.
Responsibilities
- Provide strategic direction and oversight to the HR department, fostering a high-performance culture
- Develop and implement comprehensive HR policies, procedures, and best practices
- Lead talent acquisition, retention, and development initiatives to attract and nurture top talent
- Oversee employee relations, ensuring a positive and inclusive work environment
- Collaborate with senior leadership across departments to align HR strategies with organizational goals
- Coordinate employee benefits, compensation, and performance management
- Ensure compliance with labor laws, rules, and regulations, including coordinating employee and manager trainings
- Drive diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives to cultivate a diverse and inclusive workforce
- Analyze HR metrics and data to identify trends and areas for improvement
- Serve as a trusted advisor to senior leadership on HR-related matters
Education and Experience :
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
- 10+ years of progressive HR leadership and management experience
- PHR or SPHR through HRCI / SHRM Certification
- Knowledge of California and Federal employment laws, investigation skills, HR technical knowledge in EEO, FMLA, ADA, unemployment, and worker’s compensation
- Strong computer skills and experience with office management and communication software; experience with Dayforce systems and software is a plus

- Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
- Strong analytical and decision-making abilities
- Thorough knowledge of employment laws (California & National), regulations, and best practices
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information
- Proficiency in handling multiple work projects simultaneously
