Senior Construction Project Manager

VPG Construction is looking for a Sr. Construction Project Manager to join our team. The candidate must fit well within the company’s core values : Passion Resourcefulness Integrity Dependability Excellence Responsibilities Review and report issues timely if / when they arise and review potential impact Frequent / daily visits to project job site Be able to manage and oversee the operations department, with Project engineers, Superintendents, and Project Managers.

Collaborate with Engineers, Architects, Subcontractors, Vendors, etc., to meet the demands of the project Negotiate contracts with external vendors to reach profitable agreements Determine required resources (workforce, equipment, and materials) from start to finish with attention to budgetary limitations Plan all construction operations and schedule intermediate phases to ensure deadlines will be met Lead the Project Team through collaboration and leadership skills Hire Subcontractors / Vendors and efficiently allocate responsibilities Evaluate progress and prepare detailed reports Ensure adherence to all health and safety standards Monthly requisition processing Able to lead Owner, Architect and Contractor Meetings Able to manage multiple projects at a time.

Skills Critical thinking and decision making Proven experience as a Senior Construction Project Manager In-depth understanding of construction procedures, and material and project management principles Familiarity with quality and health and safety standards Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, and Procore.

Knowledge and experience of Microsoft Project is preferred Outstanding communication and negotiation skills Excellent organizational and time-management skills A collaborator with diplomatic leadership abilities PMP or equivalent certification will be an advantage OSHA Certification Education : Bachelor's (Required) Experience : Commercial Construction : 10 years (Required) Project Management : 10 years (Required) License / Certification : Work Location : In person Requirements Ability to pass criminal, drug, and driving screening.

Ability to work any time or day of the week, including weekends and holidays. Ability to travel up to 25% locally. Ability to respond to after-hour emergency calls.

Ability to work outside in inclement weather as needed. Possess a valid driver’s license and maintain a safe driving record.
