Shift : 12-hour shifts from 7 : 00 PM to 7 : 30 AM
Guaranteed Hours : 36 hours per week
Experience : Minimum 1 year of recent full-time equivalent experience in the last 3 years
License : Registered Nurse License
Certifications : Basic Life Support, Advanced Neonatal Resuscitation Program
Must-Have : ACLS certified, with recent experience in high-risk labor and delivery preferred
Job Description :
- Provide comprehensive care to expectant mothers and newborns during labor and delivery.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure the provision of quality care.
- Monitor the health and status of patients, including performing assessments and implementing appropriate interventions.
- Document patient care activities accurately and comprehensively.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to maintain current best practices in maternal child health.
- Engage with patients and their families to provide education and support throughout the birthing process.
- Ensure compliance with all health and safety protocols.
- Exhibit proficiency in managing high-risk obstetrical cases.
This position requires a dedicated nurse capable of working effectively in a fast-paced environment, with the ability to respond swiftly to emergent situations in labor and delivery settings.
