Overview :
Perform a wide variety of mechanical andelectrical maintenance work of a skilled and complex nature.Installs repairs and maintains manufacturing equipment and plantfacilities necessary for satisfactory operation of equipment andprocesses.
This positionis moderately physical.
Responsibilites :
- Diagnose mechanical electrical / electronichydraulic and combustion malfunctions and operating difficulties.Determines repair procedures and implements those repairs that willbe effective in preventing reoccurrence.
- Cannavigate and interpret ladder logic in SLC 500 PLC 5 and ControlLogix software for the purpose of troubleshooting equipmentfaults.
- Can modify positions and diagnoseproblems on ABB robots. Models M94 M98 M2000 M2600 andM6700.
- Installs moves and aligns new andexisting equipment.
- Sets up and operatesvarious types of machine shop equipment with a moderate degree ofaccuracy and efficiency.
- Performs both gas andelectric welding operations.
- Completes relatedmachine repair records performs associated handling duties andmaintains work area in a neat and orderlycondition.
- Performs all necessary preventiveand proactive tasks on plantequipment.
- Performs other related duties asassigned by supervision and / or designated teamleader.
Requirements :

MustHave :
- Mustbe able to apply principles acquired through technical orvocational subjects (certificates or some collegecourses).
- 4 years of related experience inAllen Bradley Hydraulics Robotics andWelding.
- Maintenance Technician A level must beproficient at troubleshooting die casting machine cells through theuse of PLCs and electrical and hydraulicschematics.
