Position : Crane / Heavy Equipment Technician (Field or Shop)
Location : Phoenix, AZ
Pay : $25-$38
Shift : 7am-6pm M-F, with possible OT and weekends
Technicians are responsible for the inspection, diagnosis, repair, and maintenance of various crane equipment, including mobile cranes and boom trucks.
Job Functions :
- Diagnose, repair, and troubleshoot various mobile hydraulic and lattice cranes.
- Capable of accomplishing tasks independently without direct supervision.
- Perform thorough and accurate annual inspections.
- Properly fill out work reports, hours reports, time sheets, hours overviews, and expense reports.
- Provide excellent customer service.
Job Requirements :
- 2 years of experience as a Mechanic / Technician required.
- Experience working with different forms of mobile crane equipment specifically Grove RT & TMS Cranes; Grove GMK European Cranes;
Manitowoc EPIC and / or Traditional Cranes; National Boom Trucks preferred.
- Must be able to read both electrical and hydraulic schematics.
- Must be able to travel 50% of the time (for field role) to job sites and for training as required.
- Must have excellent communication skills with a customer / client focus.
