STV is seeking an HR Generalist to join our Human Resources team. This is designated as a hybrid position, where it will be expected to be in an office 3 days / week.

Office locations can be in one of our west coast offices, which include : Bellevue / Seattle, WA; Lake Oswego, OR; Irvine, Rancho Cucamonga, Los Angeles, or Oakland, CA .

Overview

The HR Generalist will operate as part of an HR Generalist team modeled to support HR Business Partners with implementing various HR programs and initiatives for designated operating and functional groups.

This role plays a vital part in the overall success of the HR function and its delivery of people-oriented strategies.

Duties

  • Assist with HR programs and initiatives : talent acquisition, employment processing, compensation, records management, employee relations, and compliance
  • Participate in the formulation of HR solutions by collecting and analyzing information, recommending courses of action.
  • Complete special projects by carrying out project objective; setting timetables and schedules; conducting research; developing and organizing information;

fulfilling transactions.

  • Manage client expectations by communicating project status and issues, resolving concerns.
  • Prepare reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data and trends.
  • Protect organization's value by keeping information confidential.
  • Comply with federal, state, and local legal requirements by staying abreast of existing and new legislation.
  • Enhance department and organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; explore opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
  • Continue to develop job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks;

participating in professional organizations.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources or related field, or equivalent years of experience in lieu of a degree
  • Minimum of 6 years of experience as an HR Generalist
  • Demonstrated skills to include : Detail-oriented and responsive, ensuring closed-loop communication Problem-solving abilities with a process improvement mindset Inquisitive and resourcefulProficient with Microsoft Office products (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Visio, Forms)
  • Experience in the following is highly desired :
  • Workday HCM
  • AEC industry

Compensation Range :

$76,527.00 - $102,036.00
