The Surgical and Neuroscience Intensive Care Unit (SICU and Neuro ICU) is seeking a Clinical Nurse II to provide specialized care to critically ill adult patients.
The unit has a focus on patients with life-threatening conditions related to major surgical procedures, trauma, brain and spinal injuries, stroke, and sepsis, among others.
The nurse will be responsible for implementing physician orders, administering medications, performing treatments and procedures, and documenting treatment as required.
They will also assess and evaluate patient needs, provide primary and emergency care, and collaborate with the nursing team to create a Plan of Care for all patients.
Requirements include a graduate degree in nursing, a current RN license, and certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS).
Excellent communication, organizational, and time-management skills are essential.
