Remote Tax / Audit Senior in Washington
ABC Accounting is in search of a seasoned Tax and Audit Professional to join our team. The ideal candidate will hold a valid Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license with at least 2 to 5 years of experience in public accounting, specializing in both tax and audit.
Our company is dedicated to delivering exceptional client service and offers a flexible work schedule, with 32 hours per week in the summer and 50+ hours per week during tax season.
Required Skills :
- Valid Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license
- Demonstrated focus on client service
- Excellent accounting, mathematical, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to handle multiple tasks, prioritize, and work independently while meeting deadlines
- Experience collaborating in a team-oriented environment
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
- Knowledge and proven ability to independently manage tax and audit engagements, including planning, delegation, and review
- Capability to train, supervise, and develop staff members
- Efficient, accurate, complete, and timely preparation and review of clients' tax returns
- 2-5 years of recent experience in public accounting
The Tax and Audit Senior will be responsible for overseeing the efficient and effective operations of our tax and audit practice areas.
Key duties include comprehensive preparation and review of tax returns, planning and delegating audit work, and supervising staff both in the office and in the field.
The role involves meeting budget expectations and providing support in completing audits.
