About The Position
We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Cardiovascular Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join our cardiovascular team in Coos Bay, OR.
This position offers a unique rotation between the hospital and outpatient clinic, providing comprehensive cardiovascular care to a diverse patient population.
The Cardiovascular NP / PA will rotate between hospital and clinic settings on a weekly basis. In the outpatient clinic, the provider will manage 15-18 patients per day, conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, and providing follow-up care for cardiovascular conditions.
In the cath lab, responsibilities include assisting with 6-8 procedures per day, working closely with cardiologists to perform diagnostic and interventional procedures.
Hospital-based duties include managing inpatient cardiology patients, coordinating care with the cardiovascular team, and providing acute care for patients with complex cardiovascular conditions.
The role requires a strong ability to work autonomously while collaborating with physicians and other healthcare providers to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Schedule :
- Clinic Hours : 8 : 00 am - 4 : 30 pm
- Cath Lab Hours : 6 : 00 am - 4 : 30 pm
- Rotation : 1 week in the hospital, 1 week in the outpatient clinic
Qualifications :
- Certification : Board Certified Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA)
- Licensure : Active Oregon license, or the willingness to obtain one
- Experience : Minimum of 2+ years of work experience in inpatient cardiology is required
- Skills : Strong clinical skills, ability to perform in both outpatient and inpatient settings, excellent communication and teamwork abilities
