Duties and Responsibilities
- Engage directly with potential clients to present and sell solar solutions effectively.
- Evaluate client needs and requirements to tailor optimal solar configurations.
- Generate and follow up on sales leads, maintaining active engagement with prospects and clients.
- Conduct market research to identify selling possibilities and evaluate customer needs.
- Negotiate / close deals and handle complaints or objections, fostering a long-term relationship with customers.
- Prepare and deliver appropriate presentations on products / services.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve better results and drive sales strategies.
- Regularly report on sales progress and quota achievements to company management.
- Stay up to date with new products and features to enhance sales and meet targets.
- Participate in on-site project assessments to ensure accurate installation projections and client satisfaction.
- Attend workshops to learn more about the product and develop professional skills.
- Create detailed business plans to facilitate the attainment of goals and quotas.
- Travel within sales territory to meet prospects and customers.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a sales consultant or in a similar sales role.
- Ability to develop a deep understanding of solar products and markets.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Hardworking and reliable in meeting sales goals and deadlines.
- A convincing and persuasive personality with a can-do attitude.
- Available to work flexible hours to meet the needs of clients.
- Must own a car and be willing to travel locally to meet clients.
- Ability to handle complex calculations and proficient at solving story problems related to sales and pricing.
- Exceptional negotiation skills and customer service orientation.
- Motivation for sales and a strong commitment to achieving targets.
- Familiarity with CRM software and digital sales tools.
- Willing to work on a 1099 contract basis.
