Maintenance Custodian Associate at Sam's Club. Base pay range : $17.00 / hr - $24.00 / hr. Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe and clean environment for Members and Associates by performing maintenance as necessary, responding to spills, operating floor scrubbers, and disposing of cardboard, plastic, and trash in accordance with the Company Environmental Sustainability Program.
• Cleans all areas of the Facility (floors, windows, restrooms, trash receptacles) following Company procedures, guidelines, and methods, and utilizing approved chemicals, supplies, tools, and equipment.
• Ensure customers have a great first and last impression; maintain appropriate levels of Company-approved chemicals and supplies, rotate and store chemicals properly, and place orders to replenish supplies when low.
• Maintain safety by following safety standards, procedures, and guidelines, including conducting safety sweeps, following forklift spotting procedures, handling and disposing of hazardous materials, following Company steel standard guidelines, and reporting unsafe situations to Management.
• Maintain appropriate levels of chemicals and supplies needed to keep the facility safe and clean, including ensuring chemicals are rotated and stored properly and replenished as needed.

Additional information

The hourly wage range for this position is $17.00 to $24.00. The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the minimum wage applicable to the job location. Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid in amounts ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances. Premiums may be based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed. Multiple premiums may apply if applicable criteria are met.
