Cleaver Brooks is looking for a

• Welder / Fabricator - 2nd Shift
• to join our team in
• Lincoln, NE.
• The Welder / Fabricator will fabricate and weld pressure vessels and related components in accordance to ASME code. Shift : 2nd Shift - (3 : 30pm to 12 : 00am, Monday - Friday). Overtime as needed.

Essential functions :

Must have the ability to understand and follow all safety rules.

Be willing to learn how to operate the overhead crane, scissor lift, use scaffolding & ladders.

Must have the ability to work in confined space and up to 25 feet heights as required.

Have the ability to read blueprints and process sheets accurately preferred.

Must know, understand, and abide by 5S housekeeping procedures and Lean Manufacturing practices.

Be willing to understand and use IFS time keeping system to clock on / off jobs correctly and accurately.

Must demonstrate full competence in meeting safety, quality and production standards.

Willing to learn the following weld certifications : - GMAW-S (FCAW), All positions, desired

GMAW-SC, All positions, desired

Must follow Procedures for Welder performance Qualification Testing.

Performs work as a Floater in the Fabrication & Assembly, Pressure Vessel, or CNC Departments as assigned.

Apply intellect, creativity, adaptability, judgment, and management skills to achieve required results.

Ensure duties and company projects are accomplished in an efficient and cost effective manner.

Support peers and management with internal and external projects.

Adhere to company policies.

Performs all other job duties as assigned by the Team Leader or Supervisor.
