Emergency Department
The Registered Nurse (RN) in the Emergency Department is responsible for assessing, coordinating, and managing patient care throughout their stay, ensuring progress towards discharge.
This role involves implementing physician orders, administering medications, evaluating diagnostic tests, and collaborating with the nursing team to create a Plan of Care for all patients.
The ideal candidate holds a current NYS Registered Nurse license, certification in BLS / ACLS / PALS / TNCC, and has 1-3 years of previous clinical nursing experience in an Emergency Department.
