Territory Sales Manager - Traveling

Territory Managers are under the direct supervision of the Vice President of Sales and / or the Regional Sales Manager and are responsible for maintaining and growing sales within a predetermined sales footprint (territory).

The Territory Manager role is a salaried position with a commission and bonus plan, along with a competitive comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, PTO, and a 401k following a grace period.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Territory Managers are expected to drive sales growth for the Supply Company branch locations by maintaining existing customer relationships and by forging new dealer relationships.

TMs are expected to travel to customer locations to facilitate sales of products and services, and are expected to meet and exceed sales / profitability goals set by the Vice President of Sales.

Territory Managers must also work with the Credit Department to aid in credit & collection issues and work with branch operations to resolve dealer issues.

Territory Managers are expected to perform ride-alongs with dealers to develop high-efficiency sales techniques, as well as implement dealer business plans.

TMs should keep dealers up to date with latest promotional activities and offerings, as well as provide competitive pricing and product information.

Territory Managers are also expected to monitor industry competition in their sales footprint to determine potential business and / or lost business.

Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)

Territory Managers must have at least three (3) years of HVAC experience in either a TM or inside sales role . Territory Managers must have excellent communication skills and must be entrepreneurial, goal-driven, and self-motivated.

TMs must also be well-organized and represent the company in a professional manner. Territory Managers must possess a valid driver’s license and must maintain a personal vehicle which they can use to travel throughout their territory.

They must also maintain insurance coverage as described in the Personal Auto Use Agreement.

Physical Demands and Work Environment

Territory Managers must be able to perform general office tasks, including typing and writing, and must be able to drive a motor vehicle for hours at a time.

Territory Managers should be able to lift up to 15 pounds.

This is a full-time FLSA exempt position.

Job Type : Full-time

Pay : From $75,000.00 per year
