Job Summary
Responsibilities include administrative and clinical care services.
Duties include greeting patient, verifying patient information by interviewing patient, recording medical history, confirming purpose of visit.
Prepare patient for examination by performing preliminary physical tests, taking blood pressure, weight and temperature and recording patient history summary.
Assist provider with office procedures, schedule surgeries and procedures by making arrangements with the hospital, verifying times with patient, preparing charts, preadmission and consent forms.
Answering phones, stocking supplies, scheduling appointments, explaining treatment procedures to patient. Precertifications and authorizations.
Patient check in and check out. Updating patient's demographic information. Verifying insurance eligibility and benefits.
Maintenance of electronic medical records. Scanning documents into electronic medical records. Other duties as assigned.
Relevant experience and certification are required
Clerical work experience in the medical setting is desired.
Individual will work primarily in the front office and must cross train to work in the back office as needed
Job Type : Full-time
Pay : $12.00 - $15.00 per hour
