Data Warehouse and Business Intelligence Manager

Deliver insights to help Finance turn data into action as a Data Warehouse and Business Intelligence Manager at GDIT. Your work will provide transformative solutions to assist our business owners with data insights and help advance the mission.

Our work depends on this role joining our team to support data analytics for high volume Finance data in both relations data warehouse and multi-dimensional format.

HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT :

• Manages the design, planning, implementation and administration of data warehouses, including security, access and documentation.
• Lead a team of 3-5 developers to build data and analytic solutions to support financial data insights.
• Be a Subject Matter Expert in the area of dimensional and high volume facts for financial transactions, specifically focused on ERP and EPM datasets.
• Strong team player and coach for junior team members.
• Technology leader and innovative thinker in the field of advance reporting and analytics.
• Apply functional and technical understanding to create and deliver innovative data solutions.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED :

Education : Bachelor of Science in the field of Computer Science / Engineering / Maths or relevant field; OR in lieu of degree, a combination of related work experience, education, training, and certifications may be considered.

Required Experience : 10+ years of related experience with Oracle data warehouses and BI. 3+ years as a data / BI manager or equivalent leadership experience.

Required Technical Skills : 5+ years of strong technical / SME level Oracle Analytics Server (OAS). 2+ years of experience with multi-dimensional databases reporting.

5+ years of hands on SQL and PL / SQL experience.

Required Skills and Abilities : Strong communications skills - both as a technology leader and the ability to work with senior management in both IT and Finance.

Preferred Skills : Some knowledge of EPM Cloud data is desirable.

The likely salary range for this position is $131,750 - $178,250. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary.

Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
