TrueNorth Companies, L.C. headquartered in downtown Cedar Rapids, Iowa is currently seeking energetic and motivated individuals to participate in our Summer 2025 Internship Program .

TrueNorth is looking for a Data Analyst Intern to work with our Finance and Technology team . The Data Analyst Intern will work collaboratively between Finance and Technology to identify opportunities to use data technology to drive efficiency.

Our internship program is a 10-week paid program, running May August 2025. This position will be working out of our Cedar Rapids, IA office.

As a Data Analyst Intern, You Will :

• Perform data analysis to identify trends, provide insights, and support decision-making.
• Conduct financial analysis to evaluate performance and support strategic initiatives.
• Carry out systems analysis to assess and improve processes and technology use.
• Manage requirements by gathering, documenting, and ensuring alignment with project goals.
• Facilitate communication between teams and stakeholders to ensure smooth collaboration and project progress.

Education, Experience, & Skills :

• Must be of Junior or Senior status, currently pursuing a degree or certificate in Finance and Data Analytics or related field.
• Experience with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
• The ability to work successfully in a fast paced, rapidly changing environment.
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ideal candidates will have a genuine interest in the insurance industry.
