Position Focus :
Collaborate with stakeholders, including faculty, researchers, and IT teams, to identify, analyze, and document business requirements for health sciences IT projects, ensuring alignment with organization goals.
Perform and collaborate on reporting activities for health science IT systems and software to support decision-making, grant development, and future development efforts.
Assist in the planning, execution, documentation, and monitoring of IT projects, including the development of project plans, timelines, and resource allocation, while ensuring that projects are delivered on time and within scope.
Evaluate current processes and workflows within the health sciences IT, identifying areas for improvement and recommending solutions to enhance efficiency and improve service delivery.
Advise training and change management efforts with stakeholders for new technology and innovation initiatives.
Liaise with stakeholders, information security, and other IT counterparts to design new software solutions that meet research systems objectives and comply with university policies, including information security requirements for HIPAA and NIST 800-171.
Essential Duties
1. Perform a narrow range of analytical duties in the development of technical solutions for optimizing business processes.
2. May write and modify routine test plans / scripts, document requirements, track, and monitor test results, provide feedback and reporting on testing progress.
3. Analyze current systems / processes and identify trends, make recommendations for modernization and improvement. 4. Assist with preparing charts, diagrams, correspondence, and technical documents.
5. Assists in identifying and evaluating system solutions and procedures which meet user requirements. 6. May work as a member of a project support team.
Required Education and Experience
Bachelor's Degree and no experience or equivalent education and experience.

Familiarity with basic systems and processes analysis methods and techniques.
