About The Position
Job Title : Registered Nurse Job Specialty : Labor and Delivery Job Duration : 13 Weeks Shift : Night 3x12-Hour (19 : 00 - 07 : 30) Guaranteed Hours : Not Specified Experience : 2 years required;
Academic experience preferred License : Registered Nurse License Certifications : BLS, NRP, ACLS, AWHONN Intermediate Must-Have : EPIC documentation skills Job Description : Work in the Labor and Delivery unit, providing care to obstetrical patients.
- Participate in the management of both low and high-risk antepartum and postpartum patients.- Triage obstetrical patients effectively.
- Utilize intrauterine pressure catheters (IUPC).- Maintain central lines, including CVC and PICC.- Administer anticoagulants, antihypertensives, and insulin drips.
- Manage magnesium sulfate therapy.- Assist with high-risk and routine vaginal deliveries.- Circulate during C-sections.- Perform sterile vaginal exams.
- Participate in delivering care within a facility that conducts 200-300 births per month.- Willingness to work 2 out of 3 major holidays if needed.
