Days (Weekdays, with Rotating Weekends) 6a-3p
About the Role : Join our compassionate team at Folsom Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center , part of the Venza Care family.
As a Laundry Aide, you'll play a key role in maintaining cleanliness and comfort for our residents. With Venza Care’s growing network , we pride ourselves on providing a supportive workplace where well-being, teamwork, and excellence are at the forefront.
Key Responsibilities :
- Operate washing machines and dryers to clean residents' clothing and facility linens
- Follow proper laundry procedures and maintain a schedule to ensure a constant supply of clean linens
- Apply appropriate treatment to stained fabrics as required
- Fold, sort, and distribute clean laundry to resident rooms and storage areas
- Maintain a clean and organized laundry area
- Adhere to infection control and safety policies in all laundry practices
- Collaborate with the housekeeping team to manage linen inventory
Qualifications :
- Experience with laundry operations, preferably in a healthcare setting
- Knowledge of laundry equipment and proper fabric care
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team
- Physical capability to lift and move heavy items and stand for extended periods
