Job Title : Phlebotomist Patient Services Representative
Contract Duration : 6 Months
Pay range : $20 - 24 / hr
Location : Bellingham, WA
Work Type : Onsite, Monday through Friday 8 am - 5 pm
Job Description :
Are you passionate about providing exceptional healthcare experiences? As a Phlebotomist Patient Services Representative, you'll play a vital role in ensuring patient satisfaction and accurate lab results.
Key Responsibilities :
- Patient Interaction : Greet patients warmly and create a comfortable, trusting environment.
- Phlebotomy : Draw blood samples skillfully and accurately, following established procedures.
- Specimen Preparation : Prepare specimens for lab testing, ensuring quality and compliance.
- Data Entry : Accurately input patient information and lab results into electronic systems.
- Customer Service : Provide excellent customer service, addressing patient questions and concerns.
Qualifications :
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Medical assistant or paramedic training preferred
- Phlebotomy certification preferred (Required in California, Nevada, and Washington)
- Minimum of 6 months experience in a healthcare setting
- One(+) years of phlebotomy experience preferred
- Strong customer service skills
- Proficiency in pediatric and geriatric blood draws
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent data entry skills
