Job Title : Maintenance Technician

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Maintenance Technician to perform corrective maintenance on machinery. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with welding skills who is eager to learn and grow in the field of industrial maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Perform corrective maintenance on various machines.
• Utilize welding skills and operate manual mills and lathes.
• Troubleshoot and repair hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• Conduct mechanical repairs and PLC troubleshooting.
• Read and interpret blueprints to ensure accurate repairs.

Essential Skills

• 2+ years of experience in industrial maintenance.
• Proficiency in troubleshooting mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Experience with PLC troubleshooting and controls.
• Welding skills.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
• Experience with PLCs is a plus.

Work Environment

This is a very industrial environment where the shop is not clean due to the nature of making industrial grinding wheels.

The machinery is older, and safety is a priority, requiring steel-toed boots and safety glasses. No medical certificates are required.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Marysville, Washington.
