Salary : $18-20 per hour

Alaska Northern Courier LLC is currently seeking team players with strong customer service and organization skills to join our exceptional team at our Anchorage location.

Packaging and Delivery staff enjoy working with people, take pride in giving outstanding customer service, and represent ANCllc as a customer service agent to deliver for clients large and small.

As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to provide clients with excellent delivery services. Our Drivers deliver all over the Anchorage bowl and the Valley.

You will work in coordination with other ANCllc departments to ensure our customers’ needs are met at the highest level of care.

Compensation is based on experience, starting $18.50 - $19.00 per hour. Our employees also have access to a comprehensive benefits package which includes paid holidays, and paid time off.

In addition to the required customer service and organization skills, the winning candidate will : have high personal standards seeking to work with like-minded peers;

Qualifications

• High organizational skills with ability to multi-task in a busy environment to achieve maximum productivity
• Ability to work effectively as a team player
• Capacity to work safely in a warehouse
• Ability to drive safely and follow delivery routes
• Excellent telephone and interpersonal communication skills
• Proficient computer skills and ability to learn software programs

Education and Experience

• High School diploma or equivalent (Required)
• Excellent customer relations, communication, and teaching skills (Required)
• Stockroom experience (Preferred)
• Clean Driver's record, past 36 months (Required)
• Alaska Driver's license (Required)

Other Requirements

Work of medium physical demand, frequently requiring lifting and carrying items weighing up to 75 pounds. Frequent stooping and bending when handling equipment and supplies.

Regularly requires sitting, standing for extended periods of time.

• Ability to withstand working in an open environment, where both heat and cold may be extreme.
• Good fine motor dexterity and cognitive ability for driving and command of the senses to a level appropriate for driving and instruction to customers, including vision, hearing and speech.
