Job Description :
TITLE : CLINICAL SUPPORT PARTNER - LICENSED PRACTICAL NURSE
AREA OF ASSIGNMENT : Any patient care area
HOURS OF WORK : Assigned tour of duty hours.
RESPONSIBLE TO : RN or Charge RN
JOB OVERVIEW : The Licensed Practical Nurse, under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, assists with data gathering and provides safe, effective nursing care to patients in routine nursing situations.
The LPN functions in an interdependent role to deliver care as directed.
PREREQUISITES :
Currently licensed in Washington State.
Current American Heart Association BLS / CPR for health care providers
GENERAL QUALIFICATIONS :
1. Capable of comprehending, executing, and acting within scope of practice.
2. Able to communicate effectively in oral and written form in the English language.
3. Neat and well groomed appearance.
4. Demonstrates effective interpersonal skills in a diverse population.
5. Ability to communicate and work effectively with the physical and emotional developments of all age groups.
