Essential Duties and Responsibilities :

• Learn all phases of the manufacturing process, tables, ovens, dividers, molders, ingredients and mix as required by leads.
• Forms, cuts, molds, shapes and bakes dough.
• Monitors baking completion times.
• Reports questionable product to the department leads.
• Ensure all process meets the customer or specification requirements and minimizes risk to the company.
• Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition and follow prescribed safety regulations.
• Must be able to withstand various weather and temperature conditions to include heat, humidity and cold.
• Perform basic visual quality inspections on products.
• Utilize tools and equipment as needed to perform duties.
• Must be able to work scheduled and unscheduled hours.
• Must be able to work weekends and holidays.
• Regular and predictable attendance and punctuality.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Maintains good working relationships with company employees and coworkers.
• Communicates with department staff in a clear and timely manner to maximize productivity.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands and arms and required to talk and hear, the employee is required to stand, walk, kneel, crouch, bend, stoop, twist, reach, climb, lift, grasp, push and pull trays for up to 8 hours the employee is required to frequently lift up to 50 pounds and occasionally up to 75 pounds.

Requisite Skills / Qualifications :

Education : High school diploma or equivalent

Previous Experience, Certificates, License and Skills : 1 year of experience as a baker or a bakery background (preferred)

• Must be able to read and write English; bilingual in English / Spanish is a plus.
• Must be able to work independently or in a team setting.
• Must be able to follow simple instructions and rules.
• Must be a self-starter, self-motivated and able to think on their feet.
• Must be able to work under a timeline and meet timeline deadlines.
• Must be able to perform simple mathematical calculations.
• Must follow all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
• Must comply with OSHA and SDS Standards.
• Must practice good hygiene and cleanliness.
