Assistant Hospital Manager- Redwood City

Who you are :

The person in this role will spend the vast majority of their work hours on the clinic floor, interacting and supporting all departments.

The Assistant Hospital Managers specific focus will be staffing, workflows, training, coaching, onboarding new staff, helping the teams navigate through daily challenges;

from client concerns to interpersonal concerns, and participating in clinical staff recruiting (interviews) as necessary.

Additionally, this role will help direct traffic on the clinic floor each day; helping to ensure each department has what they need to focus on patient care.

This role will help to support and collaborate directly with our fabulous department leads, working closely with them, the medical directors and the operations team to ensure day-to-day clinical operations meet expectations.

What Youll Do :

  • Coach, manage and develop a team of 5-10 clinical leads spanning multiple different clinical departments.
  • Manage daily staffing levels, moving labor to increase efficiency and support departments with gaps in staffing.
  • Assist with payroll processing.
  • Assist the leads in implementing training plans and updating SOPs for every department. Help train all employees to advance their clinical skill sets.
  • Create effective onboarding plans for all new employees and track their progress.
  • Oversee leads to ensure they are proactively creating schedules for all departments and effectively managing call outs.
  • Act as the primary source of information, maintain consistency and take corrective action when needed.
  • Partner with the Hospital Managers and MDs to assist with process improvement projects.
  • Partner with hospital manager on regulatory compliance mandates.
  • Ensure hospital provides top tier client experience.

Basic requirements :

  • CA RVT license highly preferred
  • 5+ years of management experience
  • Demonstrated experience leading and motivating others
  • Willingness and ability to work in multiple different departments

Pay Range $90,000 - $110,000 annually. This position is full-time and is considered exempt.

Our pay ranges are primarily determined by role, level, and location. The range provided for each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for the position.

Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
