JobOverview :
We are seeking a highlymotivated and experienced Civil Engineer to join our team. Thesuccessful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the designconstruction and maintenance of utility infrastructure projects.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in civilengineering excellent problemsolving skills and a passion fordelivering exceptional results.
KeyResponsibilities :
Design andoversee the construction of utility infrastructure projectsincluding water and sewer systems stormwater management systems androads
Conduct site visits and inspections toensure projects are being completed according to design plans andspecifications
Prepare and review engineeringdesigns calculations and drawings
Coordinatewith project managers contractors and other stakeholders to ensuretimely and costeffective project delivery
Conduct feasibility studies and cost estimates for potentialprojects
Participate in the development ofproject proposals and bids
Ensure compliancewith all relevant regulations codes and standards
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to juniorengineers and technicians
Keep uptodate withindustry developments and best practices
Collaborate with other departments to ensure effective projectcoordination and delivery
Qualifications :
Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering or relatedfield
Professional Engineer (PE) license isrequired
Minimum of 5 years of experience incivil engineering preferably in the utility infrastructuresector
Strong knowledge of civil engineeringprinciples practices and techniques
Proficiencyin AutoCAD and other relevant design software
Excellent project management and organizational skills
Ability to work independently and as part of ateam
Excellent communication and interpersonalskills
Strong problemsolving and decisionmakingabilities
Familiarity with relevant regulationsand codes such as ASCE AWWA and ASTM
Willingness to travel for site visits and projectmeetings
