Responsibilities
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to create a loyal customer base.
- Actively listen to the clients objections and concerns. Address the client's concerns carefully, clearly, and professionally.
Develop quotes for those clients.
- Advise clients on suitable insurance policies depending on their needs and objectives. Close sales effectively.
- Treat each customer contact as a cross and up-sell opportunity including financial products.
- Utilize various computer systems for daily transactions, take premium payments, review, update, and make changes to policies, claim handling, and endorsements.
- Analyze policy renewals in accordance with client information, individual needs, and prevailing market conditions.
Requirements
- A Property and Casualty License OR 3+ years of experience in Property & Casualty insurance is Required.
- Pay meticulous attention to detail when reviewing policies, contracts, and client data to minimize errors and ensure the highest level of accuracy.
- Candidate must have basic computer software knowledge . This includes being proficient in Microsoft Office Suite. Agency Management System (AMS) is a BONUS.
- Act as a dedicated team player , fostering collaboration and supporting colleagues in delivering excellent service to clients with strong typing skills.
- Communicate effectively through written and verbal means , both with clients and team members over the phone, in writing, and in the office, to provide clear, concise, and informative responses.
- Accurately input and maintain client information , policy details, and other relevant data into our databases and management systems.
