About The Position
An inpatient facility is looking for a psychiatrist for locum tenens coverage.
While in central Iowa, make a trip to Reiman Gardens or Blank Park Zoo during your off time!
The position is Monday through Friday, 40 hours per week, with on-call and rounding responsibilities one weekend per month.
It requires an active Iowa License or IMLC.
Dates Needed : October 16 - 2-3 months with option to extend
Case Load / PPD : Up to 16
Shift Type : Day Shift; Call
Assignment Type : Inpatient

Shift Hours : Full time (40 hours)
Cases Treated : MDD, Bipolar, Psychosis, PTSD, Anxiety, Personality Disorders, SI / HI.
Average Length of Stay (IP) : 7.5 days
Call Required : Yes
Board Certification Required : Yes
Prescriptive Authority Required : Yes
Patient Population : Adults
Support Staff : Social work, Recreational Therapy, Psych Techs, RN / LPNs, CMO, and Resident Physicians / Medical Students.
