Procurement Specialist
We are seeking a talented Procurement Specialist with a strong background in renewables or power projects to join our team.
The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of procurement processes within the energy sector, particularly in renewable energy technologies such as solar and wind.
Key Responsibilities :
- Prepare contract documents and bidders list, manage bidding process for proposals and projects.
- Review project drawings to provide technical data for bidders.
- Lead bid evaluation process, collaborate with internal teams on technical evaluations, and make recommendations for award.
- Lead negotiation and award process, resolve commercial terms and conditions.
- Edit contract documents, create purchase orders, and revise contracts as necessary.
- Communicate procurement status to internal teams and external stakeholders.
- Maintain supplier relationships, stay updated with industry advancements and new products.
- Support Procurement Manager on projects, proposals, and other initiatives.
Qualifications :
- At least 5 years of experience in Procurement on large scale construction projects.
- Experience in leading procurement teams, preferably within solar projects.
- Familiarity with Utility Scale Projects; experience with MW-scale projects preferred.
- Knowledge of equipment procurement.
- Experience collaborating with Engineering teams; ability to procure technical equipment.
- Familiarity with EPC contracts; ability to independently negotiate redlines preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Legal, Technical / Engineering, Construction, or related field preferred.
