Job Title : Shipside Specialist
Job Type : Full time; Consultant (6 months)
Location : San Antonio, TX
Schedule : Monday to Friday; 6 : 00am-2 : 30pm
Pay Rate : $40 per hour
Job Responsibilities
- Assist with activities across limited functions to coordinate resolution of emergent shipside issues in support of specific operations.
- Provides limited feedback on assessment results. Assist team members in implementing strategies and plans.
- Assist with updating tracking and visibility tools.
- Communicates status of parts and materials using automated systems and manual reporting methods to insure parts availability.
- Analyzes problems and resolves or reconciles discrepancies with parts, materials and tools to maintain inventory and system accuracy.
- Identifies and solves problems or discrepancies of limited scope with parts and materials using established procedures or processes.
- Coordinates with various functions to set priorities, expedite and complete production activities to avoid schedule delays.
Basic Qualification
- GED or High School Diploma
- Experience with the following systems : Velocity, REDARS - Engineering Information Delivery, Product Standards Data System (PSDS), Integration Visualization Tool (IVT)
- 3+ years of manufacturing experience
- 1+ years of experience w / operations analysis
- 1+ years of experience w / root cause analysis
