Savan is seeking a Senior Data Governance Analyst to help support data management improvements for a Federal Chief Information Officer (CIO).
We seek a highly organized individual with great attention to detail and strong client relationship skills. Responsibilities include establishing and automating data gathering, analysis, and visualization of data from disparate data sources in a federal agency with highly federated information technology (IT) and data management.
Role Responsibilities :
- Identify data management inefficiencies and deficiencies supporting executive decision making for IT spending, acquisition, and design.
- Document mission programs’ definitions of business, technical, and policy terms for an improved understanding of data assets, interoperability, and data sharing.
- Make recommendations and support the implementation of improved data management to support IT management .
- Support data analytics and visualization for IT governance and decision making
Qualifications and Requirements :
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in IT, engineering, or a data science discipline.
- 7 years of professional experience
- U.S. Citizenship
- 3 years of experience in government consulting.
- 3 years of experience in data management and / or governance.
- Public trust or ability to obtain a Public Trust
Preferred Qualifications :
- Experience supporting the management of IT projects for federal civilian agencies.
- Experience supporting a CIO organization
- SharePoint / Dataverse experience
- ServiceNow experience
- Drupal experience
