Nampa med / surg unit is a fast-paced 24 bed Surgical unit that is an ideal place to build strong clinical skills while caring for an increasingly diverse patient population.
Typical RN to patient ratios on this unit are 1 : 5, with reduced ratios of 1 : 4 for acuity when necessary. For CNAs, the ratios are typically 1 : 8-10.
What You Can Expect :
Full-time 12 hour shifts, evenings, nights; variable days and weekends
Manage direct reports for night shift , Manage schedule, timecards and attendance, conduct interviews, review invoices, present at meetings, act as floor charge nurse / expert as needed, perform delegated duties
- Clinical Expertise & Emotional Intelligence : Demonstrate expertise in clinical practices and critical decision-making while showing empathy and self-awareness to support both staff and patients.
- Team Development & Organizational Skills : Mentor staff, foster teamwork, and manage resources effectively to ensure high-quality patient care.
- Adaptability & Accountability : Show flexibility in changing environments and uphold ethical standards, while driving quality improvement and taking responsibility for team outcomes.
Qualifications :
- Education : Bachelors of Science in Nursing
- Experience : 3 years nursing experience
- Licenses / Certifications : Current RN License required and Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Provider Certified through American Safety and Health Institute, American Heart Association, or American Red Cross.
