Curico Area, Chile : Our client is looking for an Export Manager to join the team.

The successful candidate will oversee our client’s international sales operations. Based in Curico, this role is crucial in expanding their market presence and driving growth in Latin America, the USA, the Middle East, and Europe.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s degree in any field; a degree related to business or agriculture is a plus.
  • 15-20 years of experience in export management, with a strong focus on fruits (apples, kiwis, pears).
  • Proven track record of successful international sales and market expansion.
  • In-depth knowledge of export regulations, documentation, and logistics.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and manage a team effectively.
  • Proficiency in English and Spanish is required.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO :

  • Develop and implement export strategies to expand market share in designated regions (Latin America, USA, Middle East, and Europe).
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with international clients, distributors, and partners.
  • Oversee the entire export process, from order fulfilment to delivery, ensuring compliance with international regulations and company standards.
  • Collaborate with production and logistics teams to ensure timely and accurate shipment of products.
  • Analyse market trends and competitor activities to identify new business opportunities and potential risks.
  • Manage and mentor junior sales assistant, providing guidance and support to achieve departmental goals.
  • Prepare and present regular reports on export performance, sales metrics, and market insights to the VP.
  • Attend trade shows, industry events, and meetings to promote the company’s products and explore new business prospects.
