Are you a marketing professional with a successful track record of leading, influencing, and getting work done across departments at all levels?

Our growing marketing team is seeking a Director, Partner Marketing to work hybrid onsite with our team based out of West Des Moines, Iowa.

The Director of Partner Marketing will lead the development, consolidation, and management of Homesteaders’ funeral home marketing value proposition.

This individual will oversee the library of consumer-facing funeral home marketing material, including our data insights program, B2C marketing resources, CRM marketing automation, Community Engagement seminar program, and collateral and grief support resources.

This individual will work in close collaboration with the VP-Marketing Communications and representatives from the Homesteaders sales and marketing teams to ensure our funeral home marketing offering generates successful preneed growth for partner firms.

Requirements

• Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in marketing, public relations, or advertising.
• Five or more years of professional experience in a marketing and / or sales environment combined with significant use of technology solutions to accomplish duties.

Escalating duties preferred.

• Prior work in funeral service, with preference placed on experience with B2C consumer sales in at-need or preneed settings.
• A successful track record of leading, influencing, and getting work done across departments at all levels, with preference given to candidates with a strong background in collaborating with sales teams.
• Writing / editing skills, with the ability to modify writing style for purpose and audience.
• Comprehensive knowledge of marketing concepts, practices, and procedures.
• Creativity relative to marketing communications, campaigns, methods, and tools.
• Demonstrated understanding of and / or proficiency using the following applications and utilities :
• MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook, and other web-based technology.
• Comfort attending and / or leading virtual meetings via Zoom or MS Teams.
• Quantitative analysis skills.
• Some database experience preferred.
• Demonstrated experience working with email applications such as HubSpot.
• Experience with Salesforce or HubSpot CRM preferred.
• Knowledge of Adobe CS (primarily InDesign) helpful.
