Superintendent - Wastewater (Jacksonville)

Metric Geo are working with a respected infrastructure and environmental contractor, they are seeking an experienced Superintendent to oversee wastewater infrastructure maintenance and operations projects in the Jacksonville area. This role is responsible for managing in-house and subcontractor crews, ensuring all work is performed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with project specifications, environmental regulations, and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the daily work of field personnel and subcontractors involved in wastewater infrastructure projects.
• Review and interpret project drawings, specifications, and subcontracts to ensure all work aligns with current documentation and contractual obligations.
• Develop and maintain project schedules, including short-interval and specialty schedules, to ensure timely completion of project tasks.
• Plan and assign work activities, ensuring crews have the necessary equipment, materials, and qualified personnel.
• Monitor labor, materials, and equipment costs; assist in managing budgets and controlling project expenses.
• Conduct regular safety meetings and maintain a safe work environment in compliance with OSHA, EPA, and company safety standards.
• Evaluate subcontractor performance through regular coordination meetings; ensure their work supports project goals and timelines.
• Support project management in ensuring compliance with all applicable city, state, and federal regulations.
