We are currently seeking a skilled and empathetic Virtual School Psychologist to join our team as an independent contractor.

Position Overview : As a Virtual School Psychologist with VocoVision, you will offer essential psychological services to students throughout Michiganin a virtual capacity.

This 1099 contract position allows for flexibility while enabling you to make a significant impact on students' lives. You will collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to address a range of psychological and educational concerns.

Key Responsibilities :

• Conduct virtual assessments and evaluations to identify and address students' psychological and educational needs.
• Provide individual and group counseling services through a secure teletherapy platform.
• Develop and implement intervention strategies, behavioral plans, and support plans tailored to individual students.
• Work closely with teachers, parents, and school staff to ensure comprehensive support for students.
• Contribute to Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and assist in creating effective educational plans.
• Maintain thorough and confidential records of all interactions, assessments, and interventions.
• Stay updated with the latest research and best practices in school psychology and teletherapy.

Qualifications :

• Masters or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or a related field.
• Active MichiganState License as a School Psychologist.
• Experience working in a school setting with a strong understanding of school psychology practices.
• Comfortable using virtual communication platforms and teletherapy tools.
• Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage a flexible schedule.

Preferred Skills :

• Experience with diverse student populations and special education processes.
• Knowledge of IEP development and implementation.
• Proactive problem-solving skills and a commitment to student-centered support.
