About The Position

American Medical Staffing (AMS) puts you first, and we are currently seeking a Correctional Physical Therapist Assistant to join our corrections medical team in Chesapeake, Virginia.

This is a medium security men's state prison with a maximum capacity of 1,192 inmates.

PTA Corrections Job Details :

• Pay Rate : $1,758 to $1,958 per week
• Schedule : 8a-5p
• Available Shift : Days, 5 shifts per week
• Start Date : Two weeks from offer
• Located In : Chesapeake, Virginia
• Requirements : Qualified applicants MUST have at least 1-2 years of experience, preferably in a corrections or similar setting, have a valid Physical Therapist Assistant license and be willing to obtain VA licensure.

As a Correctional Physical Therapist Assistant you will play a crucial role in providing medical care to incarcerated individuals, contributing to their well-being and rehabilitation.

You will collaborate with healthcare providers and correctional staff to develop and implement individualized care plans.
