Remedi SeniorCare is seeking a dynamic Order Entry Pharmacy Technician to join our team and make a difference in the lives of residents in long-term care facilities. As an Order Entry Pharmacy Technician with , you'll play a crucial role in our pharmacy operations. Your responsibilities will include swiftly and accurately entering prescriptions into our Remedi SeniorCare Framework / DocuTrack pharmacy system. Additionally, you'll communicate with customers over the phone, providing quick and courteous responses to their needs.

Location :  On site at our closed-door pharmacy (14700 Helm Ct, Plymouth, MI 48170)

Salary range : $18-$20 / hour plus $.50 / hr weekday shift differential and $1.00 / hr weekend shift differential

Schedule : 1st shift :   10am-4pm. Weekend availability required.

Key Responsibilities :

Under the guidance of a pharmacist and in compliance with State law, Order Entry Pharmacy Technicians will be responsible for :

  • Efficient order entry and follow-up
  • Troubleshooting prescription / patient data entry discrepancies
  • Ensuring accurate and timely prescription / patient information input
  • Collaborating with Order Entry leadership to meet department goals
  • Providing exceptional customer service to internal and external stakeholders
  • Must work with urgency and timeliness

    • Qualifications :

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Current registration as a Pharmacy Technician with the State Board of Pharmacy required

    • Skills & Abilities :

  • Order entry experience
  • Strong computer skills
  • Thorough understanding of medical terminology and drug knowledge
  • Math and analytical skills, with a focus on calculations
  • Minimum of two (2) years working in a long-term care pharmacy preferred but not required
