We're Hiring : Certified Nursing Assistant!
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our healthcare team in Baltimore, MD . The ideal candidate will possess a strong knowledge of patient care procedures, excellent communication skills, and the ability to perform essential clinical and clerical tasks. Experience in Acute Care and / or LTAC / Rehab settings is highly preferred .
Location : Baltimore, MD
Role : Certified Nursing Assistant
Schedule : 3x12 hours Night Shift 7 : 00 PM to 7 : 30 AM
Key Responsibilities :
Clinical Duties :
- Measure and record vital signs (temperature, pulse, respiration, blood pressure), including recognition of abnormal and normal ranges for both adult and pediatric patients.
- Assist with patient mobility including ambulation, turning, repositioning, and safe transfers using Hoyer lifts, crutches, and hospital beds.
- Perform activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, mouth care, perineal care (male / female), dressing changes, and incontinence care.
- Collect specimens (urine, stool, sterile specimens), perform finger sticks, and obtain 12-lead EKGs.
- Conduct routine catheter care and monitor intake and output.
- Utilize medical equipment including electronic vital sign machines, pulse oximeters, glucometers, and oxygen tanks.
- Follow infection control procedures, including cleaning of equipment, donning / removing PPE, and observing isolation precautions.
Clerical Duties :
Accurately label and transport laboratory specimens.Maintain documentation standards for recording and reporting observations and care provided.Assist with general administrative duties as required.Emergency Response :
Perform CPR and support emergency care procedures as necessary.What We're Looking For :
Required Certifications :
Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) – State of Maryland (Active License Required)Basic Life Support (BLS) – American Heart Association or equivalentPatient Care Technician (PCT) – PreferredPhysical, PPD, MMR, Current Flu vaccination, Color Blind Testing, FITT mask testing.Background Check to include criminal at Federal, State and County level, education and license verification9 Panel Drug ScreenPreferred Experience :
1+ years of CNA experience in Acute Care or LTAC / Rehab settingsFamiliarity with specialized patient care equipment and electronic medical recordsProfessional Skills and Knowledge :
