Our client, a financial services company, is looking for a Manager of Learning and Development to join their team in the downtown Chicago area.
In this position, you will need to assess the companies needs to move their training initiatives and arrange training solutions for employees.
This position, based on experience, pays around $80k.
About You :
- Bachelor's degree required
- 5+ years of progressive Training and Development required
- 6+ years of relevant work experience in the financial services industry
- Experience developing and / or managing training programs for a variety of audiences
- Professional in Human Resources (PHR) or SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) is a plus
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, and planning skills
Responsibilities :
- Prepare and maintain job descriptions for each position in the organization
- Produce roadmaps for employee growth and development
- Conduct training needs and assessments for ongoing learning needs
- Participate in evaluation and monitoring of training programs to ensure success
- Administer the annual performance review process
- Oversee stakeholders and move forward in the face of ambiguity and imperfect knowledge
